Very nice with lots of trees in sites. Big awesome playground for the Grandkids, Staff was excellent. If busy when checking in there is a long wait because there is only room for 1 trailer to get through in to the campground, as well the the water fill station is at the end of the check in so people will stop & fill their trailer with water and creates delay getting into the campground.
This is really the perfect campground. Tall trees, big playground, pretty river bank, and they sell farm fresh green shelled eggs in the office ! Rustic hand pumps for the water and clean washrooms round out this great place. My kids did NOT want to leave :)
Great for family camping. Nice treed sites. Beautiful area on the river. Awesome large playground and clean showers/bathrooms.
Clean campground with wonderful hosts and campgrounds. Close to the Highway, though, so lots of road noise. Was thankful for the ear plugs I had packed, as we were in a tent.Wonderful river access. Spent hours in the river by the campground, wading and playing on tubes.They have a small general store, with very, very decent prices!
Great campsites! Very flat and we'll treed...and when you can throw a rock from your campsites and hit the river...will that's the best.It's a nice distance from Drayton Valley too only about 10 minutes and there's a Walmart and Canadian Tire in the same parking lot.And Drayton Valley is a full service town with a lot to offer by itself.If you're into fishing not only is the campground bordering the North Saskatchewan but you're only a few minutes drive from highway 22 and only than about an hour away from Rocky Mountain House!! Can you say FISHING!!The one thing I've noticed is not only the staff very friendly but they work hard to keep the place clean. They have new pit toilets (with skylights no less!!) that are so clean I was actually looking for the flush handle!! And where my campsite was there are older pit toilets near by but they too are clean and we'll kept. All in all this will now be my go-to campground... absolutely love it there!!
